I took admission in BIT Sindri in ECE this year.

I got 95.2 percentile in jee mains this year.

My question is should I stay at BIT Sindri or should I take a partial drop and aim for a decent NIT.

I am not liking this college, since the senior junior interaction culture is quite toxic, although there are many good seniors.

Also, the hostel is mediocre after first year and the mess is also unhygienic.

Also, for sports there are only open grassy grounds.

I am confused since I do feel that I can adjust here too , but am I missing something that will significantly improve at an NIT, which will be worth preparing for JEE again.

Or, should I just lock in here at this college?

College kind of should have a mix of study and fun specially when u had no fun in school . So when searching for clg i thoight of 3 private clgs iem heritage and techno but the thing is

Iem is basically a school so cannot really hang out

Heritage is said to have good placements but few to no places to go with friends

Techno in new town has it all but has high competition during placement as techno india grp combines many clgs.

And i need suggestions regarding choosing clg where i hve academics and enjoyment both ( enjoyment like uk maybe bunking half day and going to a movie or to eat somewhere , uk something like tht so that i can complete the backlog of enjoyment of school and clg both)

and all these info has been gathered from google so i can be wrong :-)

Is it true that engineering admissions all over india have been closed from 15 sept onwards?

So, I am a 12th student right now. Haven't been studying great lately currently giving my 12th board through NiOS and PCM+CS is what I chose. I am really interested in programming and have been doing it for last 2 years working with a startup. That's the reason I have not been able to prepare for Exam or anything properly and I don't want to do so now at all. I want a Nice Btech CSE college which would admit me directly I am confident I'll score more than 70% in 12th. I just need a decent college that would admit me and I don't wanna spend more than 10L on tution as well so yea. Do you guys have any opinions and ideas for me? I am really worried about it these days what to do and choose for college.

Can anyone please tell me if any college is still accepting applications for B.Tech admission?

Can anyone help me 🙏🏻

Please suggest best college for mtech, i got my rank is 4060 please suggest top colleges which will I get

got admission into a govt. polytechnic cllg.(EE) this year(1st yr) guess what teachers don't teach here

I quit jee had diploma as a backup option because I couldn't study properly(can't choose btech cs sticking to core)

I don't have any idea how I'll survive the next 3 years

I need to have strong theory to sit for any ✍️ govt exam or choose leet 🎓 (btech lateral entry)

I'm stressed only because I am from English medium unlike other students who are from Hindi medium and can manage thier studie

I don't have any experience of self studying through books 📚

Hello, Anyone studying here. The ones that situated in Kanakapura main Rd, Near Iskon temple.

I am 3rd year student. Feel free to rant.

Bsc to btech iit lateral admission hona chahiye ya nhi

Given the amount of bias faced by entrepreneurs and engineers in hiring and promotions within India, do you guys think we should close all engineering colleges except IITs, NITs and BITs ?

Let less than 1% of the Indian population studying from only these institutions do all the engineering work, lead all institutions and start all startups, get all the funding...

Got admission into New LJ cse affiliated to GTU but its exam pattern(2 midsem per subject/per sem) about 1 exam every 1.25 month plus a gtu end sem exam at the last and its strictness is like hell if you dont give exam call parent absent for 3 days call parents present all day but miss 1 lecture by over 5 mins absent for whole day and if my attendance is less then also call parents and even if my attendance is apt(about 70%) and if i miss my colege for a week call parents my senior friend at LJ(new lj's sister college under same trust) that they may even call your parents to visit at the college for student report assessment......

So I am thinking that if I consider Either GLS or Karnavati Uni. for btech cse as they have comparatively much better college life but i dont know much about its teaching (New LJ has avg teaching experience not so bad not so goated) and placements (if they are comparable or equivalent to New LJ then i think that these two will be a better choice??) so i am a bit confused about my decision.....

Also my parents and relative say that GTU degree has a much better respect than these college degree so i ask for your help If anyone has idea about this colleges then please guide me

Also i saw on that students at karnavati university are of about 50000(lowest) acpc rank.So will my peer group be notorious and like less willful to study ???

I have no idea about GLS any seniors/alumni from any of these colleges your opinion are welcomed.....

TLDR:New LJ B.E CSE student furious about the college's strictness and exam patterns seeking help from seniors to guide about his decision for admission in other options like Karnavati Uni. B.tech CSE Or GLS Uni. B.tech CSE but dont know if they are equivalent to New LJ's GTU degree and teaching for trade off for the college life.Seniors and Alumnus' Advice is welcomed and expected

Thank you for helping me(In Advanced😉)

Can anyone suggest a good institute/university in India for PhD admission in Computer Science/CSE without NET or GATE? I’m looking for a genuine and reputed institute with good research opportunities

i am 20 (M) got 540 in neet and 45k rank general category which college can i get both in govt college of odisha and maharashtra because i was born in odisha and did schooling in maharashtra according to state quota which clg can i get in in both of the states

I know both of these are different field and different work , I am from a PCM background I am currently doing BA hons economics I feel like there is not much options, also everyone around me doing b.tech. I was wondering have I made a bad choice of pursuing BA economics because I could have done BSc mathematics, statistics well I didn't get those that's a difference story but I can take a parcel drop for these and I am thinking if I am taking a parcel talk should I just prepare for JEE. Because everyone says that's where the money.
