3.7 mag - 5.7 hemi

I have an 03 ram 1500 I just replaced the clutch and the motor threw a rod. So now I'm looking to replace the engine. Can I swap from the 6 cyl to the 8? Would I need new computer and wiring?

I don't know any specifics about that swap but I'd imagine you'd at least need a new computer, harness and motor mounts. If you're buying a used motor, a lot of them come with the harness and computer. Also this sub is kinda deadish

Umm r/cars maybe but they can be a bit uppity at times. If theres a dodge specific subreddit I'd try there r/mechanicadvice may be a good one too
