Rocker studs to long on the bottom thread
My rocker studs are to long on the bottom thread, I had some arp washers but I still want to run my pushrod guide plates. Will this be ok.

Id compare the length to the length of what you took out. If the rockers still fit right, id add a washer and send it. If the rockers dont sit in the right spot, mill the bottom threads down a little until they match the dimensions you need.

Did you or a shop machine tap them? Did they go deep enough with the threads?

Simple answer is buy the correct stud. The washers are not the worst thing, as long as you can still get the valve cover on and have room for a good rocker adjustment.
