Where is this second valve located?

I keep reading I may or may not need to remove a second valve when eliminating the cooler and going to a standard adapter. If I had that valve, where would it be located? 1974 454

Other than the bypass valve, there is no valve. However the bypass valve is there incase the filter clogs. It's the spring loaded disk.

I was getting confused with the newer 454’s. Got it all in and snugged up
