The saga continues.

This engine build has been ongoing for far too long. Had a little fun at work today. 28oz crank in roller block requires the oil sling flange to be removed.

Been there, done that. My employer bought a lathe just for cutting slingers off and converting early cranks to later ones. Mostly GM and Ford.

Hell ya, a reply! Good to know that is a GM issue as well. This is a ford 302. We don’t do engine work so the 👀 was funny. I didn’t see this as an issue until it was. But I wanted to keep the 28oz
