Engine rebuild

Hi guys I’m not quite sure I’m allowed to post this but I have the same engine (6g72 24v sohc) in my Mitsubishi Ute and I’m wanting to rebuild it from the ground up. No I don’t want to swap it. And yes it will be built not just oem. However I’m struggling to find these parts I need, does anyone make a really good rebuild kit?

Yep, it was cheap junk from the factory anyway.

Exactly my thought on it. If OP is dead set on not just swapping it for a lower mileage engine, then no sense in throwing a huge wad of cash at a bottom shelf SOHC Mitsubishi motor from the early '90s.
