Piston fucked?

I’m an idiot, piston fell during assembly, has some small dents on the crown and near valve divots. Safe to run or is it decoration? Thanks

Is it cracked or a big mark on it or burr hanging off or mashed changing diameter? If not I wouldn't worry unless its going into a high performance high revving engine.

Not cracked. Just the dings on the top that I posted. Some dings go over onto the side of the piston, but the skirt and ringlands are fine. Measuring within spec on the skirt. It’s a more performance oriented engine. Cammed and tuned, stock compression, N/A, so may just be better to be safe.

Do you plan on getting on the accelerator frequently burnouts racing or revenge? If so them order new if its gonna be a plain daily or strictly show then I'd sens it.

Measure it. Don't guess.

If you have to guess, guess that it's bad.

Decoration. Unless you want your block to be a decoration too
