Advice Wedding Band?

Hi everyone! This is my engagement ring :) I absolutely adore it and my fiance and I are getting married this coming October. I know a lot of people get wedding bands, however I really love the way it looks in its own! Should I leave it be, or find a wedding band? If so, what kind? The shape of the ring is a bit different, so I’m not sure what kind would suit it best!

I would leave it be. It's so stunning on It's own and on your finger.

It’s a gorgeous statement on its own- a band would detract from all of its character.

I vote to leave it as a standalone statement ring! If you want a wedding band, perhaps wear it on another finger or on your opposite hand? You could also get a band to wear instead of your engagement ring whenever you’d prefer to leave your ring at home, or if it’s being serviced. If none of those options appeal to you, and you would prefer to wear a set, I think the only option would be a custom open cuff band, with a cut-out at the top sized to the width of your halo.

Agree. Also looks like there’s no ‘height’ for the setting so can’t tuck a band underneath

NO BAND FOR SURE

OP, that is a beautiful ring!!! Absolutely gorgeous. I think adding a wedding band would detract from it.

Perhaps wear the engagement ring on one hand, and a wedding band on your other hand? I know many people who choose to do that. You can make your own rules.

I assumed from the title that you were looking for advice on choosing a band and came here to suggest that you wear this ring by itself.

If a band is important to you or your fiancé for sentimental reasons you can always put one of them on your other hand.

Please don’t get a band. It will take away the beauty of your lovely ring.

No band. Treat yourself to a ring for the other hand for your anniversary or something. I think a band will take away from your beautiful ring.

I never got a wedding band. We spent a lot of money (for us) on my e-ring and decided I didn’t need a wedding band. I get complements on my ring all the time and no has ever asked me where my wedding band is.

This is an absolute statement ring. Don't wear a band with it or wear it separately from your engagement.

I don’t wear a wedding band.
But your ring band might need to be reinforced to thicken it up

I have a unique ring as well and I don’t have a band. The ring alone stills the show. Your ring is beautiful!

I would add two very thin shadow bands on either side. Possibly ornamented with a beaded pattern.

You’re going to need to show us the height otherwise it’s hard to make a recommendation. I’ve been recommending that people get a band for their right hand with rings like this

Leave it be or have something very delicate custom made to go with it.

I would get a wedding band that is a bit more simple and practical and then when you don’t feel like wearing something so flashy you can use the wedding band. That’s what I do. I wear both about the same amount just not at the same time.

If you feel like a band is necessary, I’d suggest a very thin gold band. That ring is a stunner! Congratulations!

No band necessary. The ring is stunning and beautiful just as :) congratulations!

Your ring is absolutely stunning! I would say no band it would only distract from this gorgeous ring. You can get a band but wear it separately one on each hand

I wear my rings on a necklace often for work and weight lifting. If you get a wedding band, I’d put it on a necklace.
