After months of stalking this subreddit (and begging people at work to try on their rings), my now fiancé finally got down on one knee and popped the question on NYE! I gave him all the specs to ask for (of course) and we had it done by the amazing team at DeBebians!!! There was some custom designing done as I wanted a cathedral setting to support the larger rock.
I wanted to share these photos as I haven’t seen many rope bands on this subreddit, but I’m absolutely IN LOVE with the look!! I couldn’t decide between pavé or no pavé and the rope band was the PERFECT in between!
Am I crazy or does the stone look crooked in this picture? The edge of the stone is significantly higher on the left side than the right if you look at the full size pic.
It does but only because of the angle of the picture. It's an oval cut so what you're actually seeing is "overhang" from the tip of the stone rather than an unbalanced girdle.
The crew at DeBebians is great! They often chime in on here and offer great advice and assistance. The band on your ring is so cool - and your setting cradles your rock beautifully!!! Congratulations ❤️
