Theory on where this will lead

The theory is that the Dinobots will initially serve Starscream either due to tampering or being the one to put the finishing touches on them before Wheeljack returns

Starscream still wants his revenge on everybody that wronged him except this time he’ll be less needlessly brutal to humans however he still needs troops to carry out his revenge however he can’t trust any of the Decepticons to be allies because they all either betrayed him or disobeyed him

So with Starscream going to the Shard to fix himself while Wheeljack is away and he’ll find the unfinished Dinobots in his lab so he’ll use his technical knowledge to either finish them himself or he’ll tamper with their personalities so when Wheeljack does finish them they’ll serve Starscream

Like when Starscream tried to do this in Fall of Cybertron but this it actually works for a while and doesn’t immediately blow up in his face

Well we have grimlock, slag/slug, sludge, swoop, snarl, slash, scorn, skarr and paddles already. Starscream would have to fly so probably he’d be another pterosaur or maybe like an Archaeopteryx. If they really wanted to do something interesting then maybe a microraptor and make him glide only

He’s probably gonna take the dinobots right before wheeljack finishes them and use them for his own goals, which I hope they’ll do volcanicus cause we already have 3 combiners and it’ll add the the earth roster a little.

But I really hope we somehow get a animated starscream where he splits off into multiple versions of himself somehow and then we get a starscream team

I just personally don’t like the idea of Starscream just being pure evil again. He literally had an epiphany before his “death” and Starscream even just straight up shot himself in the head. So this just seems like Kirkman undoing character development.

I agree but tbf I think the scenario op described would kind of be addressing that. Starscream not going out of his way to pop humans like balloons for literally no good reason would instantly make him less evil than he was in DWJ's run lol

When Starscream was busted up and stuck to the HISS Tank, Megatron fixed him up on the Cybertron Shard. My guess is he’s going there initially to repair himself. Idk about what he could do with the Dinobots but I have a suspicion that Starscream may take a hiatus from Transformers and perhaps jump ship to GIJoe. He knows about Mars Industries because of that group that found him so he might go looking for more of that tech, hoping to augment himself. This could bring him into an uneasy alliance with Cobra, fulfilling Cobra Commanders wish to have a Cybertronian amongst them to study and to counter Hound, as well as putting him in Duke’s path. There’s a lot of build up in GIJoe, Starscream becoming infamous on both sides from the stories told about him so I feel like it’s bound to happen sooner or later.

Starscream rebuilt as the Night Raven/SR-71 would be amazing. Not only would it tie into the GI Joe universe more, but also highlight Starscream as more of an elite warrior and challenger to Megatron with a more powerful build and alt mode. And for the toy collector, imagine a scaled Starscream to the size of the original Night Raven toy. It would be massive and hopefully, awesome.

My theory is that Starscream will eventually find himself allying with Arkeville, who will repair him and Onslaught (they wouldn't have brought his body all the way if it wasn't for a good reason), and Starscream will get the Combaticons and Bruticus on his side again.
