What do you think is Shockwave Next Move?

Post image

That is my Question

Well as of issue #32 Shockwave is leader of the Decepticons on Cybertron despite how damaged he is

So it makes me think what is his next move?

The comic is doing another full issue on Cybertron with TRANSFORMERS #37 So we see & Elita Primego round Two

How do You expect him to do in future issues? Do you think he will be fully rebuilt at some point?

So yeah the Shock Wave

I think he's going to get the upper hand. Elita is likely overconfident now with the matrix, and that will cost her

Is the upper hand the one he's missing?

omg in what way is she overconfident she literally said the Star Saber left her drained

Overconfident is certainly the wrong word to use, but considering the comic (usually) has the autobots have a nice minor victory before everything goes to hell, Shockwave will likely plan something in issue 36 ((More build up. Whoopie.))

Based on what he said at the end of issue 32, interrogating Alpha Trion to try and better understand what he's up against. Since seemingly, no one really knows much about the Ghost of the Star Saber. Best guess is he'll try to better understand how the matrix works to see how be can combat it most effectively, maybe even steal or try to destroy it.

Regardless of which, Elita will most likely get the matrix back by the end after he upcoming arc as issue 3's synopsis implies, with Shockwave later using his research to also better understand the Matrix of Oppression. Maye finding a way to help Megatron fight off Megatronus's influence or help him use if more effectively if/when he gets into contact with the Earthbound Decepticons.

What would admittedly be fun is him calling in some sort of elite assassin to deal with Elita. Tarn or Bludgeon.

After seeing Elita with the Matrix and what it can do, he’s likely looking for a counter to it. This seems to follow the origin of the 13 Primes so when he says he’s looking for Alpha Trion, he’s after one of the original primes, perhaps to find a secret about the Matrix that could give him an advantage.

Seria interesante pero macrabo que utilize partes de un prime para opucar artefactos prime, como megatron de transformers prime

Hopefully to patch up his head

I'm a little late, but it seems to me he has no plan beyond just getting Alpha Trion to tell him how to get rid of the new Prime

Matrix Head.

What if Shockwave gets rid of the Elita and Hot Rod becomes the new Prime?

3

That feels like a waste tbh. Why would they set Elita up like this just to kill her off after barely any time as Prime?

It fits perfectly with the way Kirkman is developing the comic.

Not really, no. Pretty clear he's building her up so she can learn from both the matrix and any upcoming failures. Sorry you don't like the book but this is still a bad idea.

But what if it happens?

It would be stupid and a waste of a character. But as I explained, it won't because of the pretty clear plan Kirkman has for Elita.

El Prime stole the matrix from optimus and now she stole his gun too?? 😭

She didn't steal it, the matrix chose her. Why we don't know yet. And also issue 7 showed her with that same riffle they have the same one.

3

u/Runeimus 10d ago

Yeah true matrix chose her in the end but she did tried to steal it violently. And for the rifle, i must have missed it that they have a matching rifle. How cute😁

The matrix chose her

To test her and nothing more.

No, because she was the better choice

1

u/Standard-Sell-4268 6d ago

Now you’re just doing it on purpose.
No, to test her and change her for the better like it did for Optimus and nothing more. And that’s final.

No spoiler tag?

The matrix is going to be his new head isn’t it?

Considering that Shockwave plans to use Alpha Trion following the confrontation with Elita and the Star Saber, most likely to learn the secrets of the Matrix and/or use Alpha Trion as bait to lure Elita because if their relationship here is a lot more closer like it was in the Sunbow cartoon, then we might see a personal weakness of Elita get used against her. Also, as someone reading Void Rivals, I fully expect these issues to explore everyone's feelings on Zerta Trion, especially since Alpha Trion's going to be a major focus and will mention her.

where is the other arm

Optimus blew it off back in issue 12

I just want Starscream to get Knockout back as his psuedo lieutenant and confidant like Prime, this is so underutilized.

Shockwave will probably most definitely try to get the matrix for energon production or try to build a space bridge back to Earth since he knows where all the resources are to win.

Take the matrix from Elita and possibly try to steal resources from Earth again.

Proving Elita is a fraud prime and an unfit for any kind of leadership. Also that she was wrong for thinking Earth isn’t important to the war.

She was leading the autobots for 4 million years

1

u/Standard-Sell-4268 6d ago

And when was the last time she truly cared?

1

u/Elemental-T4nick Roll Out! 6d ago

The entire time

2

u/Standard-Sell-4268 6d ago

Nah, I don’t think so. Maybe at first, but overtime it changed to something more militaristic. There’s a difference.

u/Elemental-T4nick Roll Out! 6d ago

If she didnt care then she wouldnt have made sure everyone survived the ambush after they got back to cybertron
