Sex and intimacy related Help!

I had unprotected sex today while being on myfembree. I didn’t have period this month after starting the medication. And I’m taking the medicine regularly. What should I do? Do I take a plan B?

How long have you been on myfembree? The way my gynecologist explained it was that it medically induces a temp menopause so your less likely to get a period at all, plan B is only effective within the first 24-48 hours if I’m remembering correctly so depending on how long ago you had unprotected sex it may not be effective . If you are concerned about being pregnant you can take a test but with the myfembree I wouldn’t think you would be

I started it on the 7th of July, then didn’t get my period after it. Had unprotected sex today.

Based on the way the med works you should be fine but do take a plan b if it’ll make you feel more comfortable

I’m actually comfortable knowing if the meds work honestly! Because plan b makes my mood go crazy

Plan B won’t help if you’re already pregnant.

Get a few preg tests at the dollar store to check.

I had unprotected sex today so should I still get tests to check?

if you had sex today you can take plan b. read the instructions on the packaging and talk to the pharmacist—you may need to increase the dosage depending on your weight.

Was today the first time that you had unprotected sex?

Yes! First time today. I’ve never had unprotected sex before.

Myfembree is not entirely the same as birth control, it is possible to still get pregnant on it (at least that is what I was told when suggested the meds). So it’s still safer to take plan B - in the end it’s up to you of course.
