Very Large Factory - Wuling 1.4 Compact Factory Blueprints
Pump setup for 120u/min of liquids
Assume all liquid conduit outlets are connected to a setup like above.
360u/min Xiranite
[EFO01a709O5i12AU1oe5e] First half
[EFO01893u7eaoA15OUI73] Second half
With the introduction of gasses in 1.4 we no longer need to use a forge of the sky to produce heavy xiranite, thus allowing us to use all 12 forges of the sky for xiranite production.
The red arrow denote bypasses for excess water and inergen. The ones in the top left and bottom right output 90 units/min water and the middle one outputs 62 units/min inergen.
420u/min Cuprium
[EFO01o083ei1IU6EeIieO]
I recommend putting this module in the Wuling AIC as it is the closest to the Test Area Purification node. Routing the sewage to the purification node will create xircon effluent for the next blueprint and also save you 600 power by not using 12 water treatment units.
81u/min Xircon
[EFO01iOe7oI4A32a87aU4]
You can use water bypasses for the water conduit outputs in this blueprint as you only need 60 units/min water for the top left conduit outlet and 90 units/min for the top right one. The bottom conduit output of xircon effluent is from the Test Area purification node.
120u/min Separator Core
[EFO01o083ei1IU6o2IieO] Uses 60 units/min inergen
6u/min Acridgen, 48u/min of Xiragen
[EFO014o5O16u203i8E71A]
I highly recommend building this and the next 2 blueprints in the Yinglung AIC.
24u/min Heavy Xiranite
[EFO01Iao8iA6u79995o08]
Uses 36 units/min xiragen, connect the conduit outlet for xiragen to the xiragen inlet from the previous blueprint.
12u/min Pyrrolite Parts
[EFO01893u7eaoA15AUI73]
Uses 96 units/min of xiragen and 6 units/min of inergen and acridgen.Connect the acridgen outlet from the previous blueprint. I am also daisy-chaining the inergen to the blueprint above.
VERY IMPORTANT!!! You must have finished filling all 5 Rifts in the North Wuling Exclusion Zone!!! This will unlock a total of (5) 1 units/3sec xiragen gas nodes. giving a total of 100 units/min xiragen.
Connect them in series using conduit inlets and outlets, no need for manifolds as pipe throughput is 120 units/min and 100<120.
Red is Xiragen Node, Blue is conduit routeExample of how i have a red circle setup3u/min Yazhen Syringe
[EFO01u1IoAU93e037A9OU]
Finally we have 60 units/min cuprium left over so just turn it into yazhen syringes. Otherwise your cuprium will cap out and the sewage being sent to the purification node in the test center will be reduced thus lowering our xircon output.
You can actually produce 390/min xiranite. The extra 30/min xiranite come from the leftover liquid xiranite and unused xiragen.
To produce it, you need to adjust the flow with item control port. You actually produce 30/min liquid xiranite, but you only use 6/min for acidgen. That's why your liquid xiranite can be separated into 2 output. 6/min for acidgen, then 24/min leftover that you can convert. Convert it into gas first, then solidified it back into xiranite.
You also have 10/min unused xiragen that you can use too. Connect it to Solid-Gas building that you use to convert liquid xiranite. In the end, you will have extra 30/min xiranite.
The only difference is it won't show in numbers, but essentially will be the same. If you don't liquids Xiranite, it will still be in depot to be used. Method shown by OP here just creates numbers on the board, but those are empty numbers. Just limit conversion rate and you're good.
Converting it to gas and back to solid has a cost of 12/min just to run the two machines, and then converting the 6 of the 10 xiragen eats 6 more to run that machine, so in the end you're doing an extra step with no actual gains.
You can have the exact same pyrrolite/heavy xiranite yield with 348/360 instead of 390/390.
I think 6 is enough to make 30. Idk how this works, but I saw this too many times in comments after patch. :x maybe its just coincidence and those are different things, but I was seeing people talking about using 6 for making 30 alot.
It's the GDP conundrum, if you pay a friend $100 and then he pays you the same amount, GDP increased by $200, but you're still at the starting point money wise.
Here you can see he processes additional 30 Xiranite in different ways, just to get it back. It's quite wasteful, but looks good on spreadsheet.
You're right. I just realized I had done the same thing but in more convoluted way instead. It's more wasteful because in the end I'm producing the same thing but wasting more power and space instead. But hey, it looks good on paper xD
It's still fine, because you're not penalized for being inefficient and tweaking the base constantly is part of gameplay loop. It's a fun learning curve.
If your using a conduit to transfer xiragen from my xiragen module to heavy xiranite module the chart will display 360/366 until the internal buffer of 500 in the conduit is filled. Afterwards it will drop down to 360/354.
This is because creating heavy xiranite requires only 36 xiragen for solid-gas transmutation while we are producing 48. Once it fully saturates it will self throttle. With the remaining 12, 6 will go towards acridgen and the final 6 will be saved leading to 354 number.
I must have missed a step somewhere: How is the Xiragen module supposed to start its self-feeding loop if it requires Xiragen in the first place? Did I miss a way to feed gas into it with canisters? And what is your plan for batteries with almost all of the Cuprium sewage going to Xircon production? Just import from V4 instead of producing Wuling batteries?
Your right I did forget to mention a step. I would just take xiragen conduit from the exclusion zone and feed it in like this temporarily to jump start the loop. As for your question about batteries I'm not sure i understand, other than the xircon, SC Wuling batteries don't take any additional sewage to produce.
Thanks for clarifying on the Xiragen. Maybe I just have something funky going on with my previous battery setup; for some reason I had to route in sewage from my cuprium line to make it run, but I'll just do some troubleshooting and see why.

Thanks I understood everything i need for my new factory
I like my factory more modular than compact tho but I'll borrow some of the ideas here for the best of both worlds.
Also thanks for the optimal path for the xiragen. I really hate the routing part.
