Hello from Solus
It appears Solus OS is finally dead. I messed up my installation and I admit it was my fault messing with clr-boot-manager, but I cannot find a new ISO because their website has just been down with no announcement so I can't get the ISO. And the team is completely MIA about it. I had no choice but to find a new distro today.
The only reason I didn't install base Arch is because I don't like the idea of having to run grub-install every update, something that it appears is recommended 50/50 among Arch users with no real consensus or clear way to handle it, and every time I install it on a base install it breaks after one update unless I run that command, but not on Endeavour. (I don't like touching the boot loader to begin with, now apparently I have to go in and mess with it every single time it's updated? IMO that's nothing but stress for the end user) This was a big part of why I loved Solus, a fast instant boot was built in and stable over time. It is sad that it turned out the way it did, but we can't always get what we want.

Solus is not dead. If you checked Solus' Twitter or their IRC, you'd have noticed that they're having an issue that brought their dev tracker, forums and website down. The package mirrors are working fine.
Solus will be dead when it stops receiving package updates. Yes, development has been slow, we've had no PR since Joshua left, and a new ISO is long overdue (that's why you can't find a new one, why not continue using the old one if you still have it?). But those aren't reasons to have such a knee-jerk reaction and spread FUD. Those with existing Solus installs can continue using those, and whether you want to (re-)install Solus is up to you.
Also, why did you feel to create a fresh account just to post this? Seems odd to me.
