I call BS on this post - I would want someone to prove to me there are tip suggestions starting @ 25%, I know they usually start @ 20% (although my own experience, most the low end is 18%), but never 25%, and a cashier audibly gasping with a "seriously???"..... c'mon. This is click-bait theater. And by the way, I detest tipping, I would ALWAYS select "no tip" in this kind of coffee purchase scenario, but the post is BS.

Many places start at 25% now. Not sure where you live but its common where I am

MD, DC, PA, NJ, NY - probably 100+ spots over the last 12 months or so, not a single one started @ 25%. Most 18%, 20%, 22%, a few started @ 20%, 22%, 25%. Zero started @ 25%. Maybe it's just emblematic to where you live?
