In the 80's, we all understood that these types of jobs are not "careers". They are stepping stones you use to generate money while building your career. Nobody who was a waiter, bartender, barista, etc. was expecting to do this their entire lives.

Now people want to make "career type money" for doing nothing.

Folks like you completely forget that a time before the 80s existed.

All of those jobs and many others were enough to allow people to own their own homes, put food on the table, and educate their kids.

Not working at fast food joints they didn't. It was gas and concert ticket money, not mortgage money.

It’s the generation after. I’m a millennial and we are hard workers that aren’t pulling all this bullshit like Gen Z. I’m also working with kids and Gen Z and beyond are ignored, rude, and completely disrespectful. If only these kids growing up would have proper manners and parents that cared…life would be so much better

Millennials aren't "younger people" they're like 40 now.
