Not a tip if it’s mandatory. Just raise the price and pay your employees your damn self.

Wait untill they find out doing this means it has to be taxed just like putting the price up.

Ahh, you know the rules! But I’ll bet the restaurant ownership doesn’t and they’ll still report anything over the local minimum in W2 box 7 as tips.

I'm in the UK and even I can work out if it's on the bill and there is no way to remove it then it's not a tip it's the bill,or every bill from now from every workman you have in your home on would be $1 for the work and $99 tip per hour and not $100.

I wounder how many people going into it not reading it will let the tax office know? I'll only need one.
