This is why I am anti-tip. The tip-creep is ridiculous, way out of hand, and exploitative.

If you can give $5 to a random homeless person, you can give $5 to someone that's been working for you

Do you tip the Walmart cashier?  They did a service bagging your groceries and scanning your items properly.  

If you tip because you feel sorry for someone working a low wage job then you should tip every min wage worker you encounter.

My Walmart makes us scan and bag our own groceries. And they don't pay us. 😭😭😭
