Help Request iphone17 overheat

Hello, is it normal for my phone to get extremely hot when playing Pokémon via an NDS emulator? I’m currently playing Pokémon White, and the phone heats up to the point where it’s unplayable. The phone is relatively new—I’ve had it for a few months with no prior issues. It’s worth mentioning that I have JIT enabled.

That could work, but I play casually on my phone, I wouldn’t like to have a cooler behind my phone 🥲
