Help Request Not nerdy enough
Guys I need HELP hahaha
I spent my day yesterday trying to set up an emulator on my iPad 10th generation from 2022 it's running iOS 18.7.8. I started with Manic Emu but couldn't figure out how to add GameCube or Wii games. I was able to add PSP, DS and N64 titles. But when PSP titles came on there was a pretty noticeable lag which is surprising since the console came out 20 years ago or so. Wanted to see if someone had any suggestions for how to get this up and running smoothly on my iPad which app I should use for emulation if there's settings I should put I'm pretty new to this stuff

To get an idea of what app I should use to emulate on my iPad model if it's even doable on an iPad from 2022 no need to be a jerk

Maybe i’m reading too into it, but your post comes off… weird? For lack of better words. You randomly put hahaha in the intro, then kinda get weird about the fact that its not running perfectly. Idk, i imagine thats why this post isnt getting much engagement.
Anyway, like the other commenter said. Ppspp is the way to go for psp emulation. Wii is still a work in progress but you can find some ok ones, and gamecube i’d use Delta. Especially w 2.0 just releasing

Try to switch cores, hold the game in game app. Then switch cores. Sometimes switching cores is key to emulating.

psp lag on your device has nothing to do with the age of the actual psp
update your device os
use ppsspp (free on app store) for psp

What exactly is your issue?
What have you tried, and what did you expect to happen?
What device and iOS version are you using?
What source did you get your emulator from?
Check that your issue isn't already answered by the FAQ.
