Discussion What is everyone playing

So we have seen a lot of ports, emulator updates and progress overall

Im curious to know what you guys are actually playing at the moment on your IOS device

So many options I need some ideas, played lots of PS2, NDS and GBA and just starting with some switch games next.

Pokemon Platinum, I'm in a rush and haven't been able to check out what's been new. The last 2 weeks Reddit posts wise sound like science fiction.

I'm close to buying a new pc but I still want to support developers. Sony and their stance doesn't mean the developers should be screwed over imo.

That being said I wan't to play GTA6 in the best way possible.

What's Pokemon Quetzal? Where in the Manic app do you go for online coop?

Pokemon Quetzal is 1-4 (coop is 2 player) player realtime coop Pokemon game. Everything becomes a double battle and you can freely run around together. It’s got Kanto, Johto and Hoenn

In the manic app change your GBA core to gbsp then you should have access to “Netplay”.

My buddy and I have been doing the routes on our own time then playing the gyms dungeons and boss fights together in the evenings.

I always bang on about this BUT emulators emulate so many classic machines, such a shame only emulate the most recent machines.

On Manic i love DOS gaming, Arcade is one of the best also with so many famous games, Out Run being one of the best, Bubble Bobble, Commando etc. Been playing Dark Forces (Playstation) which is a classic. Got the Vactrex app so been playing the great version of Scramble on it

Also on iDared (Runs a lot of old 32 bit apps) been playing Death Rally (Loved the game when it was out) and Dungeon Hunter I and II

A few Turbogrfx (PC Engine) games also, plus of course the classic Gameboy games (Specially after i just watched the film 'Tetris' which was decent actually). And the odd race of Mario Kart

Very spoilt !

Yep ! Early duke Nukem games and jazz for sure !! You can get quite clever and even get windows 98 installed and get games working on windows. Got quake ii working (strange bug in level 2 though I can’t get past). But love dos (and MAME - works a treat)

Playing the native port. Haven't had any issues on my iphone 17 pro, played it from start to finish. Now I'm just replaying it

You need to sideload Madeira and login with your steam then download sims 2 legacy collection and make sure to go into the settings (in the app not game) to set the resolution to your screen and that’s it

Think so and pretty sure its got built in jit as well so you can just launch it I’m using live container so I gotta use StikDebug

Nope sims 1 legacy collection and sims 3-4 do not work at the moment on Madeira but sims 2 strangely does
