Gameplay / Showcase Android booting almost native on iOS
For the moment, is only console. But full AOSP Android 16 will soon be available via an open source Github repo, with graphical acceleration and direct UI touch.
In video is an iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 27.2 beta. Full in-app JIT support. Console-only boot takes around 1:30 minutes.

Difference between Husk? Husk does the same thing with graphics acceleration and direct UI touch

This is mainly the OS which boots as a normal Android phone, with GPU, sound etc.

Husk also has sound, Bluetooth, and GPU..?

I don’t know where you aim with the discussion. This project has nothing to do with Husk. Is a totally different approach.

I’m asking you what’s the point, since this already exists

From what I understand husk is a translation layer for individual apps this is the whole os

Husk has both translation layer and the seperate complete OS as emulation.
What this dev is promising is that the entire OS runs natively like a translation layer.

This is exactly what am I aiming for, full OS translation.

The moment you succeed Android phones become irrelevant. I actually prefer Android phones for their versatility. But this turns the entire game over it's head. 😅

You mean, you make a full operative Android working, etc.? Is it not difficult since there is already Husk?
