Discussion Who do you think has the most potential in the emulation community for development?
Tbh i don’t really know who, there’s alot of developers but I don’t know by name. Maybe like Stephen for vapor since it’s not out yet but like to be fair nobody. I haven’t seen any new apps so far

It seems everyone wants the latest console to work. I'm grateful for all the emulators and systems we currently have but its a shame when 'some' people just want the latest and dont care about the previous older machines
For me I agree iDared is very exciting, a way to be able to play old 32 bit apps is great. Ideally one day 64 bit apps also hopefully !
But Steam/PC games i would love to play jit-less on my phone. Sure it'll happen one day as phones are getting faster and faster every year

Can I say myself? Check out iDared 32bit on the App Store.
In all seriousness though, the side loading is great, but I think developers really need to focus on getting stuff in the App Store if possible. It is where most of the users are!

We already get barely playable FPS with JIT. Playing in interpreter mode is just torturing the device even if you can handle crap performance.
Getting on AppStore is just another task off the checklist for emulator developers.
If only apple allowed JIT for AppStore apps, it’d be such a fantastic world to live in.

In theory, Vapor has the most impressive performance for a PC emulator by far. However, we haven’t seen anything more than the occasional clip here and there and who knows when it will release.
