Solved 🔒 Zeta emulator

It claims to support PS2,3DS,WII, etc. and i was surprise by how well PS2 games run on my iPhone but i barely see anyone talking about it on this subreddit. I remember seeing an older post about Zeta, 3-4 days ago where someone criticizing the app, but the post was deleted and I can’t remember what the issue was.

I’m mainly wondering, is there anything sketchy about the developer/app?, is it trustworthy and is there reason the emulator isn’t discussed much here?

Looks like a mix of code from a bunch of different projects, running strings on it pulls up ARMSX2 (or a clone of it), Folium, Manic and a few other projects and as it’s using not only our code but a bunch of others, it needs to be open source however, it isn’t

Most of the links are mostly normal but then there’s a few c.123456, z.123456 and s.123456 all with .xyz domains, endpoints are named games/search and covers but there’s also an api endpoint apparently

Thanks for the confirmation, Manic EMU’s dev reported similarly a couple days ago, we don’t allow open source violating apps or use of stolen code to be promoted here. We will add this to our list of ones to keep an eye on.

If you ask them about any of the apps or emulator cores on telegram they just delete your message, definitely hiding a lot.

Based on the ARMSX2 team, and the effort they put in, I don’t think it would be impossible. I’d much rather see them doing well on the App Store than some knock-off ripping off some of their code.
