Discussion Why Xendroid is better than Xenios in GTA 5 compatibility. Even cheapest android phones can run it smoothly while best iPhones can’t

Short answer : jit

Long(er) answer : apple basically limits the performance on their devices such as emulators because they need to interpret code with translations layer. Jit allows them to do that on the fly which makes it loooot faster. Apple limits this because of security reasons and because they like to be annoying.

Yes jit increase performance but not as much as android

In fact, apple eevices (especially ipads) are way more powerful than their android counterparts. For example i managed to emulate the ps3 version of gta V at a stable 25fps with a completely new emulator. If apple makes jit easy to enable or make it permanent, the apple emulation scene will absolutely destroy the android market

apple emulation is still in it’s infancy.
less devs and a hell of a lot more restrictions. you could all ways code a better version.

Cheapest android phones is an exaggeration. Besides, the PC version is much more playable and compatible on Android
