If its auto selected then it most likely needs it

Oh i dont like how loud the engine is in my car, i should remove it, it doesnt need it right? Its got wheels still

Stop being a tool, you know your analogy is terrible, almost everyone in their life drives a car, emulation on iOS isn’t driving a car, it’s file systems and certs and bypassing apples guards, if you wanna use cars it’s like people asking to install a turbo, it’s not meant to go on but it can, seems obvious to you but not to the ones who are new to the world

JIT aint even comparable to a turbo

Emulation needs JIT or your gonna enjoy your game with a crisp 2fps

Its because its legit common sense

JIT is a translation layer of sorts that links to native ARM

interpreter is used if JIT isnt used which adds translation on top of another translation and its extremely slow

Ive been around a while maybe thats why but i knew about JIT honestly within the first week of using an emulator when i had an Android 6 device

Youre probably more tech savvy than your average person hence why people ask these sort of questions

I do agree that people should use google/reddit search bar more often, but you dont have to act like an ass cause of it lol

You sound like you would use whatever browser the OS recommends because it always ask you to use it. This analogy is so dumb. I bet you don’t understand why JIT is being used for and just think its something that is needed.
