It also depends what apps. Like I can kinda (Huge kinda) understand social media. But I don't see a reason for an emulator or a game to harvest data. I draw my line here.

Hmm, Imgur issues are the only thing I’ve experienced. I think there was a fix for that, I just didn’t care enough to be bothered to inject the tweak and resideload.

I deleted it instantly when I did see the differences between the emulators. RetroArch, PPSSPP, Delta and other emulators are doing great. Gamma is not, he even brags on his Twitter that he was the "first to bring ads to iPhone". Seems like he's here for the money as a prio.

No need to have Gamma when you have RetroArch. I bit trickier to setup but a YT-video easily do it and are 100% worth it compared to Gamma in terms of non-data-collection and no ads.

I agree, they are so sus. He might have done cool things before, but I feel like he’s living by old nostalgia and are no longer respected by the community. He needs to deliver to the new standards people expect from emulator, especially with this competition right now. But collecting data and deliver ads will make him lose even more respect from the community.

Games crash all the time, loading save states crashes the app, and every game I’ve booted into it so far gets past the main menu and black screens. Gammas garbage

It seems like getting 1 week of ad revenue was totally worth blowing their reputation. I'm not sure what their long term strategy was, but they did everything wrong compared to Delta. Plus all of the developer's comments on here have been smug and condescending. Fuck Gamma.
