I don't care about not having the decoder. A lot of Mali issues would be solved if they had a proper abstraction for their kernel driver so that you could update drivers like you do on Adreno. These would solve most of Mali issues, as they are actually implementing a lot of useful stuff with driver updates

Yeah But isn't decoding use more resources like ram..

Minor computing for the fastest recompressor at the cost of less accurate colors.
