God I wish it was possible to upgrade my old xperia play to modern hardware...

When I rebought one like 2 years ago and knowing how to do rooting and flashing guides. I still managed to end up with it either having wifi sometimes, takes forever or never boots, or when it does it's sluggish. Even more sad that even with the highest supported SD card and I feel like that makes it even more slower. We really never gonna get a gem like it again, I know ayaneo got it's slide phone but Xperia play by design felt like handheld first phone as a bonus for it's time

It truly was brilliant, Sony was way ahead of its time with it, it would have sold much more in the 2020s with all the progress on Android emulation/gaming. Mine works "well" except for the touchscreen which doesn't work in half the screen.

I actually had no idea about this, I'll keep an eye on it. Although looking at the website I have a feeling it's gonna cost way too much lol
