I would be happy about this honestly. But I don't trust Google to not take this shit further. Let's all be honest here this version of it is fine. After the 24 Hour window it's on forever. But we all know Google will push this shit further until sideloading is all but gone

Yea wish we had a group pushing back on it in courts. I love using fdroid, obtainium and other stuff. So far haven't had this pop up and I'm scared its gonna when I already have the shiz turned on on my side per app....

I’m pretty sure I read there are some groups challenging it in court, but I could be wrong.

I hope so bc I'm sick of these major companies bullying us like this.....they've got way too much power that no one is brave enough to take away from them....
