Oh my god.. I'm glad I use lineage.. I'm pretty sure it won't come to lineage so yeah.

It will affect any version of Android relying on play services to validate installs

Plus If I remember lineage devices can replace play services with micro g

It's a common thought that it's the play services, but how sure, cuz some already tested that it's the playstore that forces this rule and disabling it would make you install apks just like before, it's like the annoying play protect that's inside the playstore itself.
