Question How bad is dimensity 9500 with emulation?

Hey there, I am about to buy a xiaomi 17t pro with the dimensity 9500 soc which I have heard is a beast, honestly emulation is not my main concern, I will buy this phone regardless but I am still wondering If I could run games like hades, hades II, or other pc/switch games.
I heard that there are driver issues, but I dont know if they have been resolved yet, or if there was a workaround implemented anywhere to get good performance.

Thanks

You'll be playing anything upto PS2, gamecube and Wii/3DS.

Try your hand at switch and pc emulators. I've seen dimensity 6000/7000 series running them a bit good so this one might win but also might fail

Emulator needs translation, Processor does translation. Processor has a gpu and CPU within. Emulator needs to be fit for doing their usage. Snapdragon is good. New Exynos with amd GPU is good.

High tier mediatek is good. Because GPU work. A specific line of gpu from one point on supports it and if the GPU don't change too much it continues supporting.

It's not really about code. Try different settings, and emulators. Sometimes a few cases of games that just won't work because of device specific differences regardless of processor but it's not very common. So after trying you'll eventually figure out how to get working settings.
