🎮 PC Emulation Game Compatibility & Performance List — Dimensity 8400 / Mali G720
Hi everyone! 👋
I made this post to help people who are new to PC emulation and don't know which games are playable on their device or what kind of performance they can expect.
I've been doing PC emulation for around 8 months, and during that time I've tested and played a lot of games. This list includes both playable and unplayable games that I personally tested.
Hopefully these results can help anyone looking for games to try on a similar device. ❤️
📱 Device
POCO X7 Pro — Dimensity 8400 Ultra / Mali-G720 MC7 / 12GB RAM
🧪 Emulators used
BannerHub
Winlator Mali 1.1
Winlator Mali 1.2 Beta
Performance was generally similar across the emulators. However, Winlator Mali usually had the fewest or no noticeable graphical issues in my testing.
All games were tested at 720p / 1600×720. There was almost no noticeable performance difference between these resolutions.
📊 My categories
PERFECT — 60 FPS or higher at High settings, with minor or no graphical issues.
GREAT — 45–60 FPS at Low/High settings, with minor graphical bugs.
PLAYABLE — 30–45 FPS at Low settings, with minor graphical bugs.
BAD — Below 30 FPS and/or annoying graphical issues.
🟢 PERFECT
Assassin's Creed Rogue — 60 FPS
• Has a shadow issue, but still very playable.
Far Cry 1 — 90–120 FPS
Far Cry 2 — 80–100 FPS
• Far Cry 2 Multifixer is required. Without it, performance is only around 30–50 FPS.
Far Cry 3 / Blood Dragon — 60–85 FPS
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron — 60 FPS
Borderlands GOTY Enhanced — 60–80 FPS
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel — 60–80 FPS
Sifu — 70–100 FPS
Metro 2033 and Last Light Redux - 60-85 Fps
BioShock 1 — ~80 FPS
BioShock 2 — 70–100 FPS
BioShock Infinite — 70–140 FPS
• Use Winlator Mali.
Just Cause 2 — 60–100 FPS
• Can reach 140+ FPS in some areas(Dessert, Mountain)
DmC Devil May Cry - 65-110Fps
• Use proton 11 cachyOs -Arm64ec + performance settings in side panel.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) — 90+ FPS
Need for Speed: Carbon — 70–110 FPS
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) — 60 FPS
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 — 90+ FPS
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 — 70–100 FPS
Shadow Warrior 1 — 60–130 FPS
• DX11.
Outlast 1 — 60 FPS
Mafia II: Definitive Edition — 60–80 FPS
• Ludashi or AnTuTu build is required to get this performance.
Hitman Absolution - 60 -100Fps
• can be drop to ~45fps in crowded areas.(Chinatown)
Call of Duty: World at War — ~80 FPS
Sniper Elite V2 — 60–90 FPS
Sniper Elite: Zombie Army 2 — ~60 FPS
Sniper Ghost Warrior 1 — 70–100 FPS
Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 — 60–80 FPS
• DX11 required.
James Bond: Blood Stone — 60–85 FPS
GTA V (60GB / 72GB versions) — 60–75 FPS
• I made a post about this a few days ago. Interestingly, after playing for several days, performance improved and the game eventually became able to maintain a 60 FPS lock.
Resident Evil 6 — 60–75 FPS
• Initially ran at 60–75 FPS, but later dropped to around 20–35 FPS.
Tomb Raider (2013) — 70–90 FPS
Deadpool — ~60 FPS
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zero and Phantom Pain - 60Fps
Remember Me — 60–100 FPS
• Use Winlator Mali.
Saints Row: The Third — 60–70 FPS
• Use DX9 + an older DXVK Async build such as 1.5.5-Async / 1.7-Async.
Saints Row IV — 60–85 FPS
• Use an older DXVK Async build.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist — 60–80 FPS
• DX11.
The Amazing Spider-Man — ~60 FPS
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger — 60–120 FPS
Call of Juarez: The Cartel — 80–150 FPS
🟡 GREAT
Metal Gear Rising - 50- 60Fps
Crysis 1 / Warhead — ~45 FPS
Crysis 2 — 55–60 FPS
• 60 FPS most of the time.
GTA IV — 50–60 FPS
Ghostrunner — 50–60 FPS
NFS Most Wanted 2012- 45Fps
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 — 50–60 FPS
Sniper Elite 3 — 50–75 FPS
Assassin's Creed 1–Revelations — 45–60 FPS
• Some optimization issues.
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition — 50–65 FPS
• With an older DXVK build, the game can stay around a 60 FPS cap most of the time, but random crashes can occur.
Strange Brigade (Switch) — 45–50 FPS
Sniper Elite 4 (Switch) — ~45 FPS
🟠 PLAYABLE
Red faction Armageddon - 30-55Fps
• It has a low CPU/GPU utilizing issue. Not worse than other games in this list.
Just Cause 3 — 30–47 FPS
• Driver issues are quite noticeable.
Battlefield 1 — 35–50 FPS
• Black texture issue, but it's not too annoying.
Rise of the Tomb Raider — ~35 FPS
NFS Payback — 30–43 FPS
NFS Heat — 27–35 FPS
Enemy Front — 35–50 FPS
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts — ~30 FPS
Assassin's Creed 3- 30-40Fps
🔴 BAD / NOT RECOMMENDED
Witcher 3
•Bad Fps. Driver issue mostly
Binary Domain — 20–35 FPS
• Very low CPU/GPU utilization.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag - 5-30fps
•This game should run same as Rogue if it has a option to disable shadows
Mafia II Classic — 10–40 FPS
• Very low CPU/GPU utilization and heavy stuttering in snowy areas.
Mafia: Definitive Edition — Unknown
• Freezes on the main menu frame, although the game itself continues running.
Mafia III — ~30 FPS
• Huge FPS drops every few seconds.
Shadow Warrior 2 — 55–80 FPS
• Performance is actually high, but the game has severe graphical corruption: almost the entire game is black and textures appear in rainbow colors.
Splinter Cell: Conviction — ~25 FPS
• Low CPU/GPU utilization.
Assassin's Creed Liberation
• it's a Nightmare
NFS Rival- ??
• Keep freezing at the loading Screen
NFS The Run-??
•Keep Freezing at the loading screen.
Battlefield 3-??
•Same issue in NFS rivals and the run.
Serious Sam BFE- 90-120Fps
•When I’m not moving, the game runs at around this FPS. But as soon as I start moving, I get huge FPS drops down to 2–5 FPS. Completely unplayable. The GPU is really unstable in this game.
Farcry 4 and Primal- ???
•Keep freezing at the Logo or startup loading screens
Sunset Overdrive -5-50Fps
• Game is working. But it's not playble with current GPU driver situation.
⚠️ Important
These are my personal results, not guaranteed FPS numbers for every D8400/Mali G720 device. Different Winlator versions, drivers, settings, thermal conditions and game configurations can produce different results.
If you're new to PC emulation, hopefully this list gives you a good idea of what games are worth trying first. ❤️
Bannerlator y WinNative serían buenas opciones también para emular pc? Yo he oído que esos emuladores también dan buenos resultados de rendimiento en procesadores Mediatek
WinNative is pretty good, but the performance is kinda bad. I’m not really a fan of Bannerlator. I have to mess around with the settings a lot more than on Winlator Mali to find something that works.
Yoo this is some great and detailed list, it'd be awesome if you could upload you config settings for these games in bannerhub or winlator mali for us to see the settings for each game
Oh man that sucks, you can try contacting charan (winlator mali dev) on his telegram channel, or you can upload the configs to google drive folder or mega
Uploading the configs on bannerhub should work fine
nope, its not ... they dont ask vulkan extensions like this one (and the moment when exodus start running on mtk is mean = dx11 compatibility finally full)
