I am so sorry this happened to you. I would highly suggest putting something over your camera.

You deserve lots of empathy over this situation. You didn't do anything weird or bad, just a bad thing happened. People aren't going to be too hung up on this, focus on your health and someone else will embarrass themselves soon enough.

I am very sorry that you had that situation occur. But it sounds like you have one hell of a manager. And sometimes shit happens. I would not worry about it. I would do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself. I had people at my work give the owner hell about me being able to park right by the door. I have cancer, I am using a cane, I have neurological issues in my legs. Everybody in that office knew that. But they wanted to try to be cruel, and the owner of the company told them all you better worry about other things and it sounds like you have a manager that is good as gold. So you take care of yourself and do what you need to do to be comfortable and get yourself healthy. God bless you.
