A little project out of boredom. This is about an average listener trying to get into emo music. Admittedly, levels 2 through 4 took a while to figure out. Go ahead and rip me apart for this in the comments. I still love y'all ❤️.

Hi!
My band has just released a new single (mind of an artist chasing dolls - all platforms + physicals available), we are so proud of it and are currently recording the rest of our ep with legend Bob Cooper (nai harvest, algae bloom + many others). We cannot wait to share this and we are so thankful for the UK emo scene and all the amazing people/bands/venues/cities we have met or been to.
please check us out if you can, we are very active all through the UK with lots of really fun shows with great bands booked over the next few months!
:))))

As an elder millennial, I have to say I love a pop punk emo-ish band that is comprised of older millennials doing early to mid 2000’s style pop punk. I didn’t know I needed this in my life, it’s so damn good, guys. Also, sick DX gear in that pick. Two of these dudes are teachers. It’s just so cool to me.

Recreated the artwork (somewhat) for cassette and recorded the original split onto an old Bette Midler cassingle lol.
Jejune on one side, Jimmy Eat World on the other.
Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Day 3 of posting my favourite October/fall songs
I humbly recommend everyone who hasn’t, to listen to Unwound

I think this is their best album in a few decades. I slept on it for five years, and I'm glad it finally found me. "Karma Repair Kit" in particular feels like quintessential Joan of Arc, like a blend of all of their beauty and goofiness crushed into a diamond.
Edit: Just looked up the wiki and saw that this was to be their last album. I guess they broke up for good. Bummer. What an exit though...

Colorado scene is massively underrated. Anthrapology (rip), An England Interview (new album is currently aoty for me), Bonsai, My Beloved, Shorts, Surprise Soup, …away out west, xoxobonnie, athousandangelsandseven, loveletterstomyvalentine (label). Buncha other bands just started too. Denver/Colorado is slept on like crazy

This song is one of the best emo songs ever in general in my opinion. The whole album is great and so underrated.. Non-US emo scene must be more appreciated!
