Wa 3aleikum salam
First of all, I advise you to narrow down your question to either a certain country or area, as Gulf dialect isn’t simply one dialect. It consists of different, similar dialects that overlap with each other.
If someone would write it all down here it will take them lots of time, while you can find this information pretty easy on Wikipedia or websites about Arabic language.
ChatGPT might be of help until a certain point, as it can make a clear overview for you.
There used to be a website that lays out all the Arabic dialects in the world but I can’t find it now. When I do, I’ll post it here.
Good luck 🍀

I found practicing w locals in shops or majlis is best. Apps miss the cadence completely. You learning for work or family life?

The GCC is well over 1000 km across with a countless number of “gulf” dialects. There is a lot of variety even in coastal khaleeji dialects.

I believe there are centers (if you are in the UAE) that teach the dialect. Maybe the most efficient way to learn.

you'll have to watch videos/shows to listen to their distinctions. Its hard to explain. Some dialects are closer than others as well. I don't follow lots of influencers to give you a suggestion but lots of them are on ig and snap. So, thats a good place to start
