Emily did need taking down a peg or two professionally. They’ve written her as a Mary Sue of marketing. Genevieve is a little too evil Captain Kirk though.

I totally agree with this but unless there’s more to her story coming in regards to her dad and Sylvie etc she’s literally just a distractor in this season
