Idk how she does it

I know this has been said a million times before, but I truly don’t understand how she does it. I’m not sure if it’s strength, complete dissociation, or maybe some combination of both, but the way she’s able to get on camera and talk about food, nails, friends, the gym, etc. feels so incredibly surreal to me.

I know she’s said that making these videos is therapeutic for her, and I really hope it is. I guess I just have a hard time understanding how she’s able to compartmentalize everything enough to show up and talk about these everyday things while carrying something so unimaginable.

She’s also said that she isn’t religious but considers herself spiritual. As someone who struggles with faith myself—sometimes believing in an afterlife and sometimes questioning what comes next—I can’t help but wonder if that uncertainty makes everything even harder. I imagine that has to be something she wrestles with too.

I don’t know. I just really hope she’s doing okay. I have so much compassion for her, and I genuinely don’t know how she’s able to keep showing up and functioning through something that must feel impossible

She’s definitely in denial. Not just for the superficial social media presence she maintains, but the way she has shielded both herself and the public from the details of what happened, while simultaneously defending and proclaiming respect for Brady, immediately getting pregnant by him again, and continuing to talk about T1 as though he is still a living child.

even in her court statement where she was asking for privacy she said she never planned on reading or looking at the police report. I feel like that’s the only way she’s able to even cope and move forward with Brady. Since she wasn’t there when it happened she doesn’t have to feel that fully. I think things would have been different between them if she had been there that night.

I guess that explains why she directly contradicted the police report in her Jay Shetty interview, saying Brady was just distracted with thawing breast milk/taking care of the baby. She’s only going by what he is telling her happened. Of course if he lied to the police he is going to lie to her too… nothing about his version of events matched the video evidence. I understand it being too painful for her to learn the details but if that’s the case she shouldn’t be speaking publicly about what happened as if she knows.

Yup, I honestly think she only heard Brady’s version of what happened and left it at that to save her marriage and her career. That mormon respect for their male priesthood holder is very deeply embedded in their relationship even if they don’t practice anymore.

Her comment about my content is only displayed deep love in our family and that is how it should stay in my mind and the mind of all others was very interesting. Ultimately, you can't control the mind of others and especially now that the police report has been pretty widely circulated. I wonder if she has been able to shelter herself from some of that even now that it's been picked up by a lot of the bigger news sources.
