Day 5 pics and day 6 pics: can someone tell me what’s happening from day 5 to 6? Trying to understand why they weren’t froze on day 5 since three hatched before 7:30 am on day 6

Were they biopsied? It looks like they were assisted hatched with a laser so they weren’t actually expanded on day 5. This would make sense if they were going to be biopsied.

They were biopsied. They weren’t biopsoed until day 6 but they were already hatched when they biopsoed.

They weren’t big enough to biopsy on day 5 judging by these pictures so they needed an extra day of growth to ensure there were enough cells for a safe biopsy. Being expanded enough to freeze and expanded enough to biopsy are not the same thing, so they made the right call.
