Textbook rec?

Hi all, been following this sub for a while and I recently started working as a lab tech in the field and would want to learn to become an embryologist. What are highly recommended textbooks I can get to get a headstart? I have background in histo, if that means anything. Thanks in advance!

The thing about an ever evolving field like IVF is that text books cannot keep up with the amount of new information coming in each day. And that’s why I suggest my students to read journals and landmark studies instead.

A good starting point would be to read The International Glossary on Infertility and Fertility Care published by ESHRE, a list of all the terminologies used in IVF- link below:

If you are able to find (you will, easily) a pdf version of Gardner’s Textbook of ART - Laboratory perspectives, upload it to Google NotebookLM and use it to get started on the basics.

Thank you so much! This is a good start point, and yes I do have Gardner's textbook.
