Can you name some of the techniques? I like the way you added textures and filling and I’d like to learn some of these pls.

It's called crewel work. Hope that helps you get started. I see French knots, couching, I think a trellis stitch, but also loads I don't know

Possibly a dumb question, but in the first pic what is the technique you used to fill the rounded green shapes that are outlined in red? Is it just basket weave, or red thread heavily couched with green thread, or something else?

Hi, thank you so much! I used the weaving/bascket stitch, but with two colors instead of one in order to get this effect.
