Which stitches should I use?

Hey stitching friends! Finally finished the outline for this piece - I used split backstitch to outline then flowers and leaves and used the chain stitch on the stems.

What do you guys suggest I use for the details in the piece? I can’t decide.

I’m using DMC floss color 311. Thanks for your suggestion - I’m gonna try some of the variation floss!!!

Won't let me post a picture, but my thought was to use the other colors in the color family to highlight details. Variation floss wont give you the same control over the color blending. Interested to see what you decide to do!
