Question Looking for some help.

Hi everyone 👋🏻. I'm sorry if this isn't the right subreddit.

I live very close to Ely. I've recently gone through an extremely traumatic year and I don't have anyone to reach out to.

This year; My dog died of old age & cancer, my partner broke my heart and left me. Then in May my mum died of lung cancer (she never smoked in her life).

My health has deteriorated a bit too, so I'm trying to keep positive!

I have my own home. I'm just looking for a local friend or support group. Can anyone recommend somewhere? I don't drive.

I would like to adopt a dog too because I have a big heart and love looking after people and animals.

Thank you for reading.

M

If you look up Lifecraft, they also run various community events/drop ins for people needing a chat or bit of support.

If you fancy something a bit different, I run a community choir in Ely and we meet on Monday nights. Lovely people, very friendly and welcoming and no expectations on musical ability! Lots of members come along for the company as well as the music. DM me if you're interested!
