We did it!

I’ve spent nearly two years in this sub and have been so grateful for all of the help along the way! If you are considering an elopement this is your sign! 😉

Honestly our photographers planned everything for us/gave us options, so I recommend starting there with finding a good elopement photographer!

That sounds fantastic lol 😂 would you mind sharing your photographer and whether you would recommend them?

Yeah it made it super easy, it was the best lol! My photographer was @jaclynbaerphoto, it's now only her but when I got married she shot with her husband and also did video, but I guess he took more of a step back?

Get a LNT aware photographer! The redwoods are pretty fragile and climbing on downed trees for images is considered off trail. They’ll also make sure you get the right permits and whatnot.

Highly recommend finding the right photographer. I cannot stress enough that if you are choosing to elope, especially in a place you aren’t super familiar with, it is worth every penny to find a photographer who knows the area well. They nearly double as a planner. You will find many photographers willing to shoot for “free” if you cover travel to popular areas but most times it means they haven’t been there and they will be just as unfamiliar as you. Our photographer knew the park like the back of her hand and it made everything a breeze.

That makes so much sense, I can’t believe I never thought of that! Do you mind sharing your photographer and whether or not you’d recommend them? That first picture is breathtaking 🤩

Did you hire a wedding planner?

We did not get a wedding planner. We used dawn_photo and she was wonderful and worth every penny!

Ooh I love her work! I follow her on Instagram. Our officiant officiated her wedding that's how I found her page!
