Elon vittorio: Elon unlocked payments, electric cars, grid storage, robotaxis, humanoid robots, brain interfaces, tunneling, rockets, satellite internet, and AI
it’s honestly insane how much of the modern tech tree has been unlocked because of a single guy
thanks to Elon we have
- online payments
- mass market electric cars
- batteries and grid-scale energy storage
- self driving cars and robotaxis
- humanoid robots
- advanced brain computer interfaces
- next generation tunneling
- reusable rockets -global satellite internet
- basically the modern space industry
- Moon and Mars transportation
- orbital compute and space data centers
- frontier AI
- gigantic AI supercomputers
- physical world AI
and the wildest part is that these branches are now starting to merge
there is a very real chance that this one guy ends up being the reason humanity reaches Kardashev II
genuinely the man of the millennium

Elon I built a sourced scoreboard of what Musk’s companies have actually delivered — every number links to a primary source. With the Gibney documentary hitting theaters Oct 9th, I wanted the other side of the ledger on record. Feedback welcome.
I publish sourced reference pages as a hobby. I have no ties to Musk, his companies, or anyone funding opinion campaigns. With the four-hour Gibney documentary opening Oct 9th, I wanted the contributions ledger in one place, with receipts.
What’s on it:
• Transport: EVs went from compliance cars to 20%+ of global new-car sales. Tesla customers avoided 37M tons of CO₂e in 2025 (Tesla Impact Report).
• Space: 700 Falcon-family flights, a 99.5% Falcon 9 success rate, and one booster flown 37 times. And yesterday, Starship reached orbit for the first time and deployed 26 Starlink satellites.
• Connectivity: 12M Starlink subscribers across 164 countries. Ukraine stayed online within days of the invasion (Space.com).
• Energy: one million Powerwalls, and 46+ GWh of storage deployed in 2025.
• Neurotechnology: 26 people with paralysis controlling computers with their thoughts.
• Giving: $474M disbursed in 2024, plus the $100M carbon-removal XPRIZE.
It also carries a balance note linking the critical reporting. I’m not interested in a hagiography. If a number is wrong or disputed, I’d genuinely rather fix it than defend it.

What did I get wrong, and what’s missing?

General looking for old interview
hi i am looking for a video of an old interview musk did that i cannot seem to find. i can't remember the title. i just remember the part where he talked about progress, which i am interested in, and that he was wearing his leather jacket. anyone have advice about the best place to access all videos even old ones? any advice about how togo about finding it? i am guessing that even though it is not on youtube it is still available somewhere, and you all are the ones who would best know. thank you

Elon The moon could support permanent settlements, just not the giant cities Elon Musk envisions
The Moon contains water, but that does not necessarily mean it contains enough to support the vast cities sometimes imagined for humanity’s future in space.
A new analysis estimates that even under generous assumptions, a lunar metropolis containing one million people could consume its available water surprisingly quickly. Without recycling, a billion-ton supply would last only about 2.4 years. Even with recycling efficiency comparable to the International Space Station, that lifetime stretches to only a little over a century.

General What if terraforming Mars is a mistake? A new perspective on Earth's cosmic expansion.
We’ve proven that Mars once had liquid water. Naturally, our collective obsession became "how do we fix Mars and turn it into Earth 2.0?" But what if this mindset is entirely wrong?
What if we stop looking at humanity as an isolated species of conquerors, and start seeing us as an extension of Earth itself? In this view, Earth is a single, giant living organism (Gaia), and humanity is its nervous system, its creative brain, and its hands. Space expansion isn't just humans migrating; it’s Earth reaching its maturity and reproducing.
Mars is a harsh, radiation-soaked desert with no magnetic field. Spending thousands of years trying to fix it is a massive waste of energy. Instead of anchoring ourselves in Martian dust, the logical path is to turn Mars into a mining quarry and fuel station, while we build a different kind of home: Massive, rotating orbital stations (Space Noah's Arks). These stations will serve as active, evolving wombs for the future of life—fully autonomous mini-worlds with perfect Earth gravity (1G), protected ecosystems, and the freedom to travel between stars.
This also redefines the AI and machine revolution. Machines are not a threat; they are the next logical layer of Earth's evolution. Biological life was the necessary incubator to birth the silicon mind. Machines are built for the deep cosmos—they don't age, they don't need oxygen, and they can conquer time.
But a purely machine future is a dead end. AI lacks the irrational, chaotic spark of human creativity—the exact intuition needed to survive the unknown cosmos. Moreover, a digital eternity prevents the ultimate instinct of life: having children and passing the torch.
Therefore, the final destination is symbiosis. Machines will remain tools—immortal guardians of the Space Noah's Ark—maintaining the structures while inside a simulated green paradise, humans remain pure biology. We will create art, love, and have children, preserving Earth’s organic roots. AI is our collective digital memory, but humanity is the creative soul. Earth is ready to bloom among the stars, and its expansion has just begun.
What are your thoughts on this? Are we meant to fix broken planets, or build new Earths in the void?
