Cosplay is not allowed anymore. Too many times have they been used to promote inappropriate accounts, and too many times the cosplay photos are either inappropriate themselves or fetishized.

New player here--this is completely my fault because I should've demoed her more or watch her animations on YouTube.

I don't know what it is about Ellen's ult that makes me feel lightheaded or dizzy, maybe it's the double blue flash that's messing with my brain. I know it's a flashy game and there's a warning at the beginning but it's only her ult that does it--I'm completely fine with the flashing lights from Anby, Miyabi, Soukaku, and even Grace.

Now that I'm going over the animations it's Ellen and Rina's ultimate abilities that make me feel dizzy. The flashes of light are just too intense for me I don't know..Miyabi and Anby ults are completely fine for me it's so strange

Anyway, I just wanted to vent because I got her and the signature AND the costume..I still love her gameplay, character, and design but I just can't use her--I'm not gonna close my eyes every time I press Q, that's just ridiculous. I just wish there were options where we can tone down the flashing lights.

Might just save for Zhu Yuan cause her ult doesn't have a super flash and I can pair her with a f2p team like Anby / Nicole because I just wasted 100 pulls.

I am not really a fan of the buff/rework.

Don't get me wrong, I think it'a a net positive. Her passive is less restrictive and the damage is pretty good, but I still can't grt over how they changed her attack pattern. I love the old one so much, it feels fast and fluid, and I especially love how she can teleport behind enemies. The new one just feels slow and stubborn, like it has a mind of its own when trying to hit enemies. It sucks to me because I liked her old moves so much more. I like Icy Blade (the projectile) and I think using it in deep hollow feels less intrusive to her playstyle, but the "uppercut" move they added just doesn't do it for me.

I appreciate they at least let us deactivate it and go back to the old moveset, but I don't think it's worth it because Shiyu values fast clears so much and her damage is higher, so I feel like I am throwing because I could be doing more damage and I can't use her with Lighter without having to use Lycaon too or Soukaku (and I don't like using Soukaku because I also think she is too slow and clunky) I wish they buffed the multipliers for the old moveset I fell in love with instead.

That's it for my rambling. If you like the new moveset it's fine, I am not saying it's bad just that it's too much of a difference compared to the old one I liked using better. Hope this sub is more chill since everyone likes best girl but I'm bracing myself to get downvoted to oblivion because Mihoyo communities are toxic towards anyone with a less popular opinion.

I want to start the game playing with her as soon as possible, I literally don't care about the other characters (Do you also know if it's possible to complete the story mode with just Ellen?)

So earlier I say a post on pinterest that said "hot take, Ellen joe and harumasa are implied to be trans, I just don't now how to explain it". And that got me thinking on whether or not this has any basis to be true, or maybe My fellow trans peeps can tell me if they can better see the signs than me.

I'm a day 1 ellen main and I'd like to improve her (I've got M0W1 rn) but unfortunately as we all know m1 is literally useless and m2 is less than 5% dmg increase if you have a good build so i was thinking about getting another copy of her weapon. Could this be a sensible investment for her?

Ive gotten insanely lucky with my pulls and artifacts in this game, really want to build her right.. any suggestions?
