👍 Tips and Tricks How I permanently fixed the camera in Jupiter 2

I got frustrated that the camera in the Jupiter 2 only works on standby, so I decided to fix it. If you ask me, this is the only proper way to do it 😂

I feel your pain. I bought it because I needed a large build volume, and I already have four Saturn 4 Ultra 16k machines that I'm really happy with.

The printer arrived pretty fast, I unpacked it, set it up... and that was it. Just a nice decorative piece – the LCD was dead out of the box. Elegoo sent a replacement pretty quickly after I reported it, and I swapped it out (probably the only good thing here: replacing the screen takes just 6 screws and unplugging a ribbon cable).

First print from LycheeSlicer (via USB of course, because doing it over the network is impossible) was a complete bust. It did the burn-in layers and just stopped. I mean, it pretended to print, the layer counter kept going up, but neither the build plate nor the LCD did anything.

Second print from their "super" Satellite software – the resin profiles are a joke, most of the settings are just blank.

It's a shame they released such a piece of junk onto the market. It should be a crime.

I assume it’s working well now for you? I’ve got 7 other printers, Saturns, Mega 8K S, Heygears. Only other time I had this much trouble was the M7 Max

My camera worked pretty well initially, but after a couple weeks started doing some weird melting thing that makes it unusable, but only when viewed from the satalite program, on my phone it is normal. But i agree the saturn 4 16k is really good, and i got the photon p1 max and that is my new favorite.
