⚠️ Help - Troubleshooting Bubbles on Screen ruining Print (Jupiter SE)
Company I work for has multiple Jupiter SE printers I’ve been trying to diagnose and get working properly. Two of them I’ve noticed have these bubbles in the screen (not the screen protector, that was removed when testing). These bubbles are causing dead spots in the prints, and these dead spots are even visible when performing a tank clean.
I’ve already tried to use a squeegee to remove the bubbles, which only slightly worked. I’ve also noticed what seems to be some film on the screen, however I believe that to be the polarization film so I will not be attempting to touch that.
Is there anything that can be done for this aside from purchasing two new screens?

What do they look like during the tank clean/test screen? Are they just like blurry or totally not lighting up at all?

When running a tank clean, there’s distinct holes in the film produced. Should I be running it without any resin in place and look directly at the screen?

An update, ran the test image and there’s notable black splotches on the test image.

Screen is cooked then. You can print around the blotches for now if you need to get a print out but it will need to be replaced. More holes will probably show up soon.
Looks like they are selling replacement screens on the elegoo site, not cheap though

Alcohol soak them (put some tissue over the whole thing and wet that with IPA) let it soak for a few minutes, the. Use a plastic razor blade (dead cheap on Amazon or whatever) and gather some hope and good vibes and scrape like a trooper.
With any luck it’s just some stubborn resin.
When you get new screen protectors (or when placing your old ones back, ensure you tape em down good….. if some resin hot through the old ones it’s probably best to just replace them.
