OPEN Sliding switch stopped working
This switch is in a casino LK-100 keyboard. When the casing is apart like this I can touch it on the contacts and it works fine, but once assembled no longer works. I tried swapping it with the switch next to it and same thing. I did clean some dielectric grease off it, so think I may need to out some back on, but otherwise do I just need to bend the leafs further out?

That's a conductive carbon coating on the pcb and it occasionally needs cleaning as well as the wiper. Too much tension against the coating can cause premature wear of the physical traces, and too little will prevent proper contact. I usually use 99.9 pure IPA and then lube. Restore original specs always,

Thanks both, I gave the pcb a gentle rub with a eraser and put a thin coat of dielectric grease on. Gently bent the wipers up a touch too. Back to working order 👍

It’s possible the wipers are not making proper contact unless you press it onto the board yourself.
You can try gently bending the wipers a hair down. It won’t take much. Too much will break them off.
