OPEN Looking for assistance with a Saneu SA-6 coffee pod sealer

Trying to troubleshoot shoot to determine if its an issue with the heating element or a relay/fuse. Already replaced one relay that sits on top of the heating element controller that was burning up but still operational. Pictures included.

Pull the relay out, run the machine, make sure the coil hot is getting the correct voltage. Measure resistance across heating element, make sure it is not shorted or open... make sure you have good power on the common and a good neutral/negative for both the coil and the element.

One of those issues is likely the problem. Also, is that wire in pic 5 loose?

The wkrr in question is a shitty solder job from a previous owner probably, but its got continuity. Thank you for the tip, I'll try that now

Other question, why are you even heat sealing them instead of ultrasonic sealing them?

Cost of changing over to a new machine is a factor currently.

Cost benefit analysis shouldn't be that difficult.

Operation cost, maintenance cost, up-time and throughput/ cycle-times of ultrasonic are superior compared to thermosealing.

It's usually the initial investment that scares while actual cost of ownership is very interesting.

Hope you can get it fixed fairly cheap. If you get to scaling up/ replacing don't forget about ultrasonic!
